San-Diego-based DJ and producer DJ Dynamiq, aka ‘El Rey del West,’ has been leading the forefront of the Latin music movement within the past decade. Having started his career in a DJ booth in a San Diego nightclub, DJ Dynamiq has climbed the rungs of the industry and achieved milestones at each step. From headlining at huge festivals including Baja Beach Fest for three years straight and Chicago’s first-ever Sueños Festival, to opening up for high-profile artists including Bad Bunny at his most recent El Ultimo Tour Del Mundo while also being Mariah Angeliq’s official tour DJ, DJ Dynamiq has transformed from a local mainstay to a globally recognized artist, crossing borders to audiences in Mexico, Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
Also known as the Open Format Assassin, DJ Dynamiq’s versatility extends to many genres, including Reggaeton, Latin, Hip-Hop, and EDM. As a member of the exclusive DJ crew, The Heavy Hitters, DJ Dynamiq has become a key player and trendsetter within the industry.
In 2016, DJ Dynamiq joined the AMP SQUAD DJ’s, a team of talented DJ’s who provide the music during the 49ers pre games & in games. Dynamiq has experienced many memorable moments including djing the game where Colin Kaepernick took a knee during the National Anthem. This moment made headlines across the world. Dynamiq’s most memorable moment came in 2020, when he was asked by the team to DJ Super Bowl week in Miami. Dynamiq provided the vibes for all the NFL & 49ers activations on SUPER BOWL LIV week in Miami, FL.
“As a kid I dreamed of many things, i’ll admit I never dreamed to DJ for my favorite sports team in the world, or work for a team in the National Football League. This was nothing I ever imagined as a kid or as an established DJ. When I was asked in 2016 to join the 49ers organization, it blew my mind. To this day, when I walk the field, interact with players in the locker room, provide the vibes pre game & during the game, and DJ in front of 65,000 faithful fans, it still feels surreal.” says Dynamiq.
DJ Dynamiq enters his 7th season as the official in game DJ of the San Francisco 49ers. You can catch him djing October 23rd versus the Kansas City Chiefs, November 24th versus the Arizona Cardinals live on Monday Night Football in Mexico City, and December 4th versus the Miami Dolphins.
